Practical verification of our concepts and solutions is a vital part of the production proces.
On 24th of August we have successfully completed the practical water testing phase of its ET-2 unmanned surface vessel (USV), marking another important milestone in the system’s development. The tests provided an opportunity to verify the platform’s performance under real-world conditions, assess the integration of its key systems, and gather valuable operational data. The successful completion of this stage represents progress towards achieving the next Technology Readiness Level (TRL).
Practical water testing is a critical part of bringing any new maritime product to market. It allows design assumptions to be validated in real operating environments, helps identify areas for improvement, and builds confidence in the system’s reliability and performance.
With this milestone achieved, MACK continues to advance the ET-2 towards its next stage of development and future operational applications.
Thanks to many hours of field testing we bring up quality assurance as well as high level or reliance for our customers.

By developing and testing our own concepts, we maintain flexibility throughout the design process and can quickly adapt to new challenges and technological opportunities. We believe that continuous development, experimentation, and close attention to user feedback are essential to delivering reliable, relevant, and effective unmanned maritime systems. Our goal is to turn innovative ideas into practical capabilities that address the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s maritime operators.
At MACK, product development is an ongoing process driven by innovation, practical experience, and the evolving needs of our customers. We continuously improve our existing systems and explore new concepts to meet operational requirements and keep pace with emerging technologies shaping the modern maritime battlespace. Our approach combines hands-on engineering, rapid prototyping, and in-house testing, allowing us to transform ideas into practical solutions and evaluate them in real-world conditions.
We continue to build relationships with organisations that share our commitment to innovation and practical capability development, including Terrahexen and Neptun Studio. Alongside these collaborations, we are actively expanding our network of local and international partners, seeking opportunities for joint development, knowledge exchange, and new projects.
We believe that combining expertise from different fields creates stronger solutions and helps turn promising ideas into capabilities that address real operational needs.
At MACK, we believe that strong partnerships and knowledge sharing are essential to developing innovative solutions for the modern defence and maritime sectors. Earlier this year, we joined BSSC, marking an important step in expanding our professional network and strengthening our engagement with the defence and security community. Our participation in the Artillery Conference organised by the Rocket and Artillery Training Centre (RATC) in Toruń also provided an opportunity to present our unmanned surface vessel solutions and exchange experience with industry and military representatives.
At MACK, we believe that meaningful innovation often begins where existing solutions reach their limits. Through continuous prototyping, experimentation, and the in-house development of components, we explore new approaches to unmanned maritime systems and turn our own concepts into practical, testable solutions. This hands-on engineering process allows us to evaluate ideas quickly, adapt designs to specific operational requirements, and move beyond the limitations of commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) products.
Developing custom components and tailored solutions also helps us reduce dependence on external supply chains and improve control over the technologies we use. Rather than relying exclusively on ready-made products, we focus on understanding, adapting, and building the capabilities required to meet our objectives. By combining independent engineering with practical testing and iterative development, MACK aims to create flexible, purpose-built solutions that respond to emerging challenges and open new possibilities in the maritime domain.
